19th coordination meeting of the Pact for Skills in Tourism

19th coordination meeting of the Pact for Skills in Tourism

Main topic "Sustainability training and certification"

The PacTS4All initiative hosted an online webinar on 4 July 2024 to present news from the Pact for Skills in Tourism.

The PacTS4ALL project provides resources for the sustainable and operational management of transnational partnerships in tourism, their overall visibility and implementation.

The project aims to strengthen these partnerships through clear guidelines for coordination and management, which have already proven to be effective in various transnational projects.

PacTS4ALL also pursues the development of an appropriate strategy for the sustainable development of international project partnerships and includes a component for the growth of skills partnerships at national and regional level – as a practical realisation of the objectives of international partnerships on the ground.

This time, the meeting focussed on the topic of “sustainability training and certification”.

Various projects were presented during this meeting in July.

  • “Sustainability aspects in the training of tour operators” – Belgian Travel Association
  • “Going Green Check” – sustainability audit of the Ecotrans initiative
  • “Brandenburg Hospitality” – quality and marketing initiative of DEHOGA Brandenburg

Ensuring sustainability and bridging the gap between the tasks of transnational projects and their feasibility at regional level are points of contact that enable synergies from the work of the PacTS4All initiative for TourX.
