What impressed her to become actively involved with the EU programmes is her desire to unlock future opportunities for young people in Europe. He also serves as member of the National Skills Council (NSC), in terms of law 4921/2022. Since then, she has been working on initiatives on employability, gender equality, climate change, tourism and sustainability. More recently, she has focused her attention on green skills and circular economy – particularly, related to the food value chain. She has also long experience in young adult learning gained in vocational training contexts. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages and literature and a specialisation course in marketing and communication of cultural products. Silvia is the Head of ENAIP Veneto’s International Area and an EU Project Manager and Developer at ENAIP NET. She holds a degree in Communication and Computer Science and a Master of Arts in European Economics, Politics, and Law from the College of Europe. Since 2012, Silvia has been deeply involved in European funding programmes, transitioning from evaluation roles to the design and coordination of impactful projects. Her expertise spans designing training courses, developing curricula, and analysing skills gaps across diverse learner profiles, with a particular focus on supporting disadvantaged individuals and NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). Former research collaborator in Verona University, Department of Human Sciences, her main research activity has been in the field of Decision-Making processes in the organizational environment.
She has been working on various EU programs such as Life, CERV, Erasmus+ KA2 and supporting Erasmus+ KA1. Currently, she is principally active in Erasmus+ KA2 initiatives on cooperation, forward-looking, sports and small-scale partnerships, with a main focus on professional training and development. In this role, he is responsible for and supports numerous educational projects at state, national and European level, covering a wide range of topics. Michaela Burkhardt has extensive professional experience as a travel agent with a Chamber of Industry and Commerce qualification. Her professional career began in tourism, a dynamic and constantly changing industry. For many years, she worked for German tour operators as well as in travel agencies. In her role as team leader, she took on responsibility for the support and training of employees as well as the training of apprentices in travel agencies. Her interest in analysing training and further education programmes from the perspective of an education provider and actively participating in the development of modern formats for the tourism industry grew from this area of activity. Ms Burkhardt has been working as a project manager at AVT since March 2023 and oversees a large number of educational projects at state, federal and EU level.
