Attitudes and expectations of travellers towards digital services in tourism

DEHOGA Brandenburg launched 2nd e-tourism survey in 2024

The increasing focus of travellers on digital applications when choosing and booking their accommodation, making table reservations in restaurants or using digital travel guides during their trips also leads to new requirements for the development of digital skills among owners and employees of small and medium-sized regional tourism businesses.

For this reason, DEHOGA Brandenburg, in cooperation with AKMI International/Universal Education and BK-Consult, has published the 2nd E-Tourism Survey 2024, which is part of their field research within the complementary E-Tourism Small Scale Partnership Project.

With this second e-tourism survey, the partners want to better assess the needs of travellers. This survey is intended to provide new impetus to support regional tourism businesses and in particular the hotel industry with new learning opportunities and micro-credentials to adapt to a competitive market.

The results of this survey will also be made available for current tasks in the TourX project, thus creating synergy effects and providing additional input for possible new elements of the TourX hospitality toolbox.

The survey is available in German and English.

We would be delighted if you would take part in the survey and give us new ideas for our work. Please take the time to support us with your perspective as a traveller.
