Challenging – Exciting – Sustainable – TourX to the 2nd study visit in Brandenburg

It was the second study visit planned in the TourX project, which brought colleagues from the project consortium to Potsdam from June 13 – 15.

During these days the German partners of the consortium had many opportunities to present their state, their culture, their work and their cooperation networks.

The program was packed with various workshops around the dual system of vocational education in Germany, with a working visit to the Lusatia region and many tours, presentations and discussions on the topics of workforce recruitment, securing young talents, sustainable tourism, green transition and digitization strategies in hospitality and tourism.

During the study visit, vocational training institutions, tourism service providers, hotels and restaurant businesses were interesting discussion partners for the guests from Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium.

These included the Kongresshotel in Potsdam, the Strandhotel & Restaurant am Senftenberger See, the Seminarhotel Paulinenhof and the Potsdam Marketing Service Gesellschaft, all of which supported the German Knowledge Triangle with great commitment, competence and professionalism.

Also the fun did not come too briefly, with the attendance of the AVT in Teltow could prove the participants of the study trip under expert guidance their culinary being able.

The accommodation at the NH Hotel in Potsdam, the World Heritage Site of Potsdam’s palaces and gardens, and the restaurant culture in Brandenburg’s state capital were diverse proof of Brandenburg hospitality and further inspiration for TourX.
