TourX-Project meeting in Brussels in May 2024

TourX-Project meeting in Brussels in May 2024

Time for analysis and evaluation

From 21 to 22 May 2024, the knowledge triangles of the partners involved in the project met to discuss the achievements to date, the new challenges and the approach to the project environment. The meeting was hosted by the EVBB, whose office is located directly in Brussels’ European Quarter

The two days were packed with the evaluation of the project progress by the project managers of the individual work packages as well as the discussion of the current tasks in the creation of the Excellence Toolbox. The results of the field research to date and the associated surveys will now determine the next steps in the project work

In a few weeks, we will have reached the halfway point of the project and there are still many tasks ahead of the project team. There was intensive discussion about the need to proactively involve trainees, students, teachers and trainers in further project work.

They are the target groups and should be the beneficiaries of the project results. This also became clear at the ‘EVENT 2024’ conference, which took place on 23 and 24 May and was attended by many of the project partners. Whether quality management, curriculum development or microcredentials, the conference offered a variety of opportunities to compare the standards of excellence in vocational education with the TourX project

The challenge now is to incorporate all that was heard and discussed into the TourX project work.
